ALAN DAVIES (Bob Nicolson - Georgia’s Dad)

Alan Davies is a comedian and actor, with a successful career spanning television, stage and radio. His television credits include lead roles in the popular series Jonathan Creek, Bob and Rose and The Brief. For the BBC, he has appeared in Miss Marple: Towards Zero, Good Housekeeping and A Many Splintered Thing. He was recently seen as the regular panellist in the BBC quiz show QI, hosted by Stephen Fry, and on Hotel Babylon and the telefilm Love Triangle.

He has had two radio shows, The Alan Davies Show for Radio 4 and Alan’s Big One for BBC Radio 1.

He has appeared on stage and at the Edinburgh Assembly Rooms in his own comedy show, The Odd Couple and Auntie and Me. In 1991, he won the Time Out award for Best Young Comic.

Davies also appeared in the film Dog Eat Dog for Moody Shoaibi.
